EAGER aims to decrease the livelihood challenges that youth experience in pre and post-disaster situations by helping them to critically engage their environments, and to use photography as a tool, giving them a chance to participate by having a platform to speak out. Client: African Centre for Disaster Studies at North West University.

Sense Mokoti

EAGER aims to decrease the livelihood challenges that youth experience in pre and post-disaster situations; factors that increase their risk and lessen their resilience to hazards. As part of this effort we created a set of short video profiles that give insight into the local context and experience of disaster risk as expressed by locals, showing the complexity regarding risks, hazards and capacity faced by those living in the areas where EAGER is active.

Flourish - Zikhona Sodlaka

The Flourish network, a programme of the Grow Great Campaign, is a national network of pregnancy and mom & baby classes that support, celebrate and empower mothers through the critical first 1000 days of a child’s life. In this video, South African actress Zikhona Sodlaka shares her experience of Flourish online classes.
